Bon Jovi - Soldier Field, Chicago

We had a great Friday night to trek downtown with a few libations on the train and the weather was fantastic. The place was packed (although the pictures don't look like it).

Bon Jovi sucked...nothing more than a glitzy Las Vegas show with Bon Jovi bareing his chest at the end of every song.

We found a great place to stand (next to the beer) for the opening act (7th Heaven)...

Then the 2nd opening act, "Kid Rock" came out and much to our surprise raised the roof - he was great! The guy is into good music, working the stadium, and having fun ....


Looks like the ole iPods won't be loading up with Bon Jovi material ... but Kid Rock has a good shot at it!
