Snowy Night Outing

Several inches of snow lasting all afternoon and into the evening - we decided to get out and into it after work. Put on our outdoor snowshoes and trekked up to the 1776 Reataurant for dinner. Wonderful walk in the deep snow. Very peaceful and calm it seemed we had the entire outdoor world to ourselves ..

Then we definitely had the entire restaurant to ourselves. Fantastic meal, great music and a couple glasses of Klinkerbrick wine to send us back on our way. Yummm!

Mid-point during our return trek home still snowing!) brother Phil called on my cell phone...so we made this snowman in his name behind the St. Thomas School...

"Kevin's tree covered in a blanket of white. We planted just a twig on Arbor Day (when they gave trees to kids in elementary school) behind that rock when we first moved into the house. Wow, has it grown and time has changed.
