Good Morning 1/2-Marathon

Perfect weather for the Park District's race this morning - Got on our bikes early and went out to watch part of the race ... and cheer on Pat's co-worker...

Every year since since 9-11 this local firefighter walks the entire 13.1 mile course in full fire-gear carrying the American Flag ... in honor of the firefighters who were killed in the twin towers.

 Here is Jake at the finish line - he came in 2nd overall ...congrats !!
