We then traveled to Wildcat Mountain State Park - what an incedible discovery...3,600 acres and a vista of the Kickapoo Valley that's unbelieveable....trees budding out, Pat looking into the far-off valley floor...

Carolyn & Ted our hosts, hiking partners, kindred spirits and great friends ...Loved how blue the sky was as it frames this tree ....

Our next adventure ..... canoeing down the Kickapoo River!!

After our journey ice-cold Spotted Cows were served at "The River Mill" while meeting new people, then off to dinner catching up with Joy & Tom at "The North End" for dinner and cards. Had a Blast!

The final weekend pic...a really cool feature along a back road in LaValle, waterfall/brook...beautiful!

Really needed a weekend away - and it was wonderful....as always.
