Okay ... so after reading the papers and having a nice coffee we took off for a 5-mile run as it was a perfect October day .... sunshine, blue skies, warm temps ...
Headed off on one of our favorite country-rides .... good memories of our boys when they were little.
Okay so we don't "pick" any longer, but the reward is just as great .... Honeycrisp!
Oh yeah, pumpkins galore ...
....and more "pickin" going on at Edwards Apple Orchards ...
Visited Mom and took her out for a walk near her Church ...
...and where she lives, my Great-Great Aunt was the head nurse when it was the Community Hospital...
...New shoes so I look spiffy with my suit in Omaha this week ...
...We delivered apples to friends on our late-afternoon bike ride then stopped at Ted & Carolyn's for a glass of Cabernet and chit-chat (aka "plans for stying at their lake house next weekend") ...
Ended our day at Main Beach for views of a completely empty-calm lake, warm beautiful sunset ...
