Spent the weekend in La Valle with a mission to tackle a major deck project recapping and re-painting.....and this is no small deck!
Here's Ted in the early stages installing the new "cap" as Ted would call it. (I think technically since this is Wisconsin it's referred more to as a "beer-rail")...

Saturday morning we had a slight rain delay so while things were drying we made a quick trip back to Home Depot....with Finn joining us...
Painting well underway and the deck (beer) cap is starting to really take on an entirely new look ... and a nice one at that!
Tom picked us up for a cookout across the lake at his cabin (thanks Joy!!!) ... what a great way to end Saturday evening bushed, hungry, and a late evening cruise back across the lake with pure darkness and a billion stars .. really cool!
