That's what started the evening off with and it is another in a long line of champagne's I've learned to really appreciate thanks to Scott (Mr. Sommelier) and his knowledge of wines ... otherwise I never would have ventured down the path myself.
This is a bottle of Le Cras '07 Domaime Thibert Pouilly-Fuise "Grand Vinde Bourgogne", a great French White Burgandy next to a wedge-salad with a homemade buttermilk & blue cheese dressing....a wow combination.
The Shrimp Etouffee entree coupled with the salad and an additional French white bottle of Domaine Les Grandes Cotes du Rhone "Viognier" '09 were all fantastic!
