We decide to make our way around a massive Interstate traffic jam....then down the alternative backroad we hit a "road closed" and "detour" so things are just not going as planned or hoped....and we snake our way into a small WI town and the road literally dead-ends at the water...now we're about ready to scream....
....until out of the blue comes this "FREE" car ferry to take us to the other side of the Lake and back on the road where we continue our backroads journey.....and making the detour a really amazing trek, and fun....
The road less traveled was worth the experience....maybe a gift!
